The 24th annual Montgomery County Animal Health Day will be held at the Independence Civic Center on March 8.
The event gets underway with registration and an opportunity to visit the booths of industry sponsors at 5 p.m. The program begins at 5:50 p.m.
This year’s program will feature the following topics:
•Beef Disease Update, Trichomoniasis in Bulls, BVD-PI; Larry Hollis, beef production veterinarian, Kansas State University
•CART-County Animal Response Team; Lisa Meek, lead volunteer-Montgomery County Animal Response Team
•Review of the Kansas-Oklahoma Stop Movement Exercise, Update from the Kansas Animal Health Department; George Teagarden, Livestock Commissioner, Kansas Animal Health Department
Animal Health Day is sponsored by K-State Research and Extension, the Montgomery County Extension Council and your local Montgomery County Veterinarian.
