The Top 10 things farmers notice as they get older:

Parson, Kansas — 10.  Their wives get worse at doing laundry and shrink their clothes.

  8.  They decide those 40-lb. feed sacks aren’t such a bad idea—you know, for other people.

  7.  The fine print just keeps getting finer.

  6.  All those famous stars on TV?—never heard of ‘em.

  5.  Although they themselves haven’t changed much, their friends are looking kinda old.

  4.  Due to inflation, anything less than a quarter isn’t worth bending over to pick up.
